It was 8-2 St. Louis going into the bottom of the 9th. John Tudor was called into mop up duty to get the last three outs. Three batters and a Ruben Sierra tater later, it was 8-6. With Ranger fans salivating at the idea of a second consecutive big 9th inning rally, well rested Lindy McDaniel relieved Tudor and calmly got the last 3 outs preserving Jesse Haines' win. All 8 St. Louis runs were driven in by different players. Depth baby.
