West coast rivals take the stage in round 1. The Mariners definitely feel better than a #30 seed - they have solid pitching and ample bats to hang around.

LAD - Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Don Sutton, Dazzy Vance
Sea - Randy Johnson, Jamie Moyer, Freddie Garcia, Felix Hernandez
Prediction - For some reason, in all my SOM action, Koufax has always underperformed. I think Seattle's best pitching cards are their #1 and #4 starters, the middle matchups are close enough to be even. The Dodgers bats and depth will be the difference. Dodgers in 7.
